One would have thought that after only just recovering from the 2013 Grizzly Bear Blat that I would have learned my lesson. Well, clearly not!
This will be an epic event that will travel through some of the most spectacular scenery in North America and end with a four day cruise through the Inner Passage from Alaska to Bellingham, reckoned by many to be one of the most spectacular cruises in the world. This is going to be an awesome Blat.
The route will take us from Vancouver to Anchorage Alaska, 3800 miles through the BC interior into the Yukon and on to Anchorage Alaska. A support vehicle will be in place, as will suggested & discounted overnight accommodation, route book, maps and places to visit.
Putting the route together for this Blat has been a real challenge. Because the distances here in North America are so great and the time is limited, we have had to think carefully what we do, how long we spend doing it and which of the many spectacular roads we choose from. We feel sure that those who participate will have a memorable experience. The start and finish of our 23 day Blat will be the Delta Town & Country Inn, on the outskirts of Vancouver BC..
